Fused Glass Cab (A)

This is a basic class in which you will learn how fused glass beads are made. Create your own designs with layers of glass to form a cabochon. Make a few cabs that you can then wire wrap, bead around, or glue a pendant finding on.  The cabs will not be fused in class. Fee $75.00 includes all supplies

Introduction to Jewelry Design (B) 

In this class you will learn the basics of bead stringing and simple design.  It is a great class that covers the construction of necklaces, bracelets and earrings.  The knowledge gained here is enough to start you along the beading path while creating fabulous jewelry.  You will complete a necklace, bracelet and earrings.  Fee $25.00 for the two-hour class, or $35.00 for the three-hour class, plus a $6.00 kit.

Multi-cord Necklace (A) 

Using cord and waxed linen thread create a fun-filled necklace with a retro flare. You can use all shapes and sizes of beads. It can look like the 60’s or modern with big stone beads. This is a fun and easy class. Fee $35.00.

Multi-Strand Necklace (I) 

Learn to coordinate multiple strands of bead work and plan your work without stress. The wrapped loop is taught along with a cone closure. Several other closures will be discussed. Color and design are also covered. A student-directed class, the instructor will help you design what you have in mind!  Fee $35.00.

Needle Woven Bracelet (A)

Create a colorful fiber woven fabric with beads set in it.   This is a fun needle weaving technique that is great for using your leftover beads.  This class is for you if you love fiber and beads!  Fee $35.00

Spiral Rope (A)

Now that you have a focal bead, it’s time to design with it.    Spiral rope adds texture and a full body to your creations.  This stitch works up really fast and has many variations to play with. Fee $25.00

Spring Pendant (I)

OK!!! Are you ready for this? Delsie has designed a spring pendant for you.  Make a Shamrock or Dogwood peyote pendant.   Original and totally fun. Fee $35.00

Square Stitch Purse (A)

You do not have to know the square stitch to make this amulet size or larger purse.  Play with color and pattern to make your very own beaded purse.  Fee $25.00

Totally Tubular Necklace (I)

Learn to work the Peyote stitch in a tube. This project is a tube from start to finish. Peyote tubes are a way to start a beaded bead or make a rope to carry a wonderful center stone or bead. Fee $25.00

Victorian Bracelet (A)

Wire Work Design (A) 

This is a four-hour class designed to cover several wire working techniques. The use of specific tools, how to handle wire, wrap beads, create findings, link components, and create simple charms will be covered.  We sell all the supplies you will need for this class.  Fee $50.00.

Young Adult Memory Bracelet (B)

Make a necklace and bracelet with a personal touch by spelling out your name or use special charm beads.  Make a present for Mom or “best friend” sets for you and a friend!  What a fun class for ages 7 – 13. Fee $25.00

Bead Haven Class Policy

We require a 48-hour notice to cancel your class. You may either receive a refund or apply to another class within the current three-month quarter. Your class fee will be forfeited if we do not receive 48 hours notice.

The classes will begin at the scheduled time, so please shop for your beads before class. Allow at least 30 minutes. The staff will be available to help you choose your supplies.

Free classes are filled quickly, so please call early. A $15.00 deposit is required when you sign up to assure your space. You will receive a refund on the day of your class.

Class fees are paid at the time of registration. Fees include instruction. Supplies for your project are purchased separately.
